Shannon Smith is a DoctorsManagement, LLC Partner as well as Founder/Director of the National Alliance of Medical Auditing Specialists. She has over 15 years extensive experience with auditing of all medical specialties, practice management, provider and employee education, billing, fee schedules, day-to-day office operations, marketing, and leadership.
Speaking nationally on regulatory issues involving evaluation, management and coding compliance. Shannon is sought after as a consultant for numerous physician offices and an advisor to other medical associations. Her articles have appeared in Medical Notes, Tennessee Medical Association, and The Coding Institute’s Coding Alerts.
Mrs. Smith earned her Associates degree from the Augusta Technical Institute in Respiratory Therapy and is credentialed through the Professional Alliance of Health Care Specialist as a Certified Multi-Specialty Medical Chart Specialists (CMSCS), a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders, a Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) through the National Alliance of Medical Auditing Specialist, and a PMCC instructor also through the American Academy of Professional Coders.
