The natural progression in a coders career is to progress forward in becoming an auditor- not just an auditor but a certified auditor backed by the national leader in coding certifications, the AAPC. 

NAMAS training program will help prepare you for the CPMA exam through the AAPC.  NAMAS is the only AAPC approved CPMA training course. 

CPMA Exam Information:
* Exam is 5hrs. and 40 min. long
* Exam is 150 questions
* During the test you are allowed to use:
      CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS, books. 
      1997 and 1995 Guidelines
      Any audit tools you use
* Exam Cost is $300
*Testing is available through your local chapter
