CLIA requires training for all new lab personnel as well as continuing education for everyone. The AAPOL News is one form of continuing education.

CLIA training should be appropriate for the level of testing done. WE have a comprehensive Power Point Presentation that can be broken down into modules for waived, PPMP, and non-waived testing. We even have a quiz and an attendance sheet for documentation. This training, which is available for laboratories, seminars, or conferences, can also be delivered by audio conference or web cast.
