The CPC training Course is an intensive course that covers all medical and specialty coding. All study materials are approved by the American Academy of Professional Coders. The course thoroughly covers the principles of ICD-9 Coding, HCPCS Coding, CPT Coding, and Medical Terminology.
Participants
The CPC course is available to individuals interested in expanding their coding knowledge and the student interested in a career in medical coding. Eligibility - high school diploma; must be 18 years old; one year of work experience in a medical office setting is preferred, but not necessary.
AAPC Exam Requirements
To sit for the AAPC exam, the student must have attended a PMCC curriculum or attended a 80 hour coding curriculum or have 2 or more years work experience.

These "Live and Interactive" classes are offered for individuals who have 2 or more years work experience and need the flexibility of an online class. These online class are unique - they are both live and recorded by the instructor and offer the students to ability to ask questions regarding the curriculum in an online classroom setting.
