Medical Practice Consulting - On occasion, DoctorsManagement is retained to perform a particular task that has a defined scope of service and an expected completion period. There are a large number of services that can be offered and provided under this arrangement and they are discussed in great detail in the “DM Services” portion of the web site.

While these services are necessary and valuable, the nature of this type of relationship with a client is sporadic or occasional. There can be a lack of continuity in helping establish and reach longer term goals.

Medical Practice Management –  While DoctorsManagement does not own any medical practices, we are deeply involved in the long-term planning and short-term operations of our client practices. Having helped establish the goals, we then get involved in planning and implementing the plan. For most clients, that proverbial “next level” is still out in front of us. Each time we take a client to a higher level of performance and profitability, we all realize that we can go even higher.

This type of relationship encourages DoctorsManagement to continue to bring new ideas and new concepts to the table. Unlike the large number of accountants/consultants who merely prepare and present a report which represents past performance, we are constantly looking forward rather than backward.

Medical Practice Accounting – For those clients who also want someone to help them keep score, we can provide that service in a manner unlike most other accounting firms. Most financial reports use accepted accounting protocols for reporting periodic operating gains and losses, but these are never prepared in a format that explains to the physicians “where the money went.” We have developed Monthly Management Reports that tell the story in such a way that “non accountants" can understand them.

Medical Practice Coding & Education --  Every medical practice must have a solid base of coders and billers.  It is important that this support staff have the tools and education necessary to maximize the amount of revenue for a practice.  We offer a full scale of coding services to providers on a montly or on a per-use basis.
