Breaking news!
The US Senate has unanimously passed legislation to exempt medical and dental practices and other healthcare providers from the FACTA "Red Flags Rule."  The rule is a part of the Fair Accounting and Credit Transactions Act and still applies to creditors and other financial entities, with a compliance deadline of December 31, 2010.

The House passed similar legislation a few months ago and is expected to pass the Senate's version.  DoctorsManagement will keep you informed.
