As you know, I have completed the DoctorsManagement School of Medical Practice Management and became a certified medical practice manager. I had such a great experience that I feel compelled to share it with you since you facilitated each and every session.

I had very little experience in the medical manager field when I accepted my new position last year. But I did have the desire to learn about this new challenge in my life and the courses at DoctorsManagement School of MPM exceeded my expectations. I not only found the courses to be interesting, educational and current, I also found the class handouts to be very useful resource material that can be used now and in the future. And by the end of the four sessions, I developed special friendships with people who share the same career and are another great source of help and understanding.

But probably the most important lesson that I have learned is that my position as office manager in a specialty clinic is so multi-faceted that I cannot do it alone and I am not expected to know all the answers. I need the help and guidance from people who are experts in this field and that is where DoctorsManagement comes in. Everybody at DoctorsManagement is very knowledgeable in their area of the medical business, from the collection process to HIPAA compliance and everything in between, and are available to help me at any time. This is very comforting to know. And I truly believe that the application of what I have learned through DoctorsManagement is instrumental in the success of our practice.

I have attended the DoctorsManagement School of Medical Practice Management since its inception, in 1998, and became a certified medical practice manager (CMPM). I have attended the ACE program as well. Unlike many of the other classes I have attended, DoctorsManagement classes are always filled with practical, needed information. I always learn something that I can apply in our practice. It is evident that the speakers and topics are carefully selected; the information is always relevant, useful and well presented. DoctorsManagement stays a step ahead and, therefore, is able to share essential information and changes proactively, thus enabling a practice manager to be prepared for change instead of running to catch up. Most of the students are practice managers, so the discussions are especially beneficial. We learn from each other's experiences -- whether we are confronted with personnel issues or computer systems. It is both exciting and rewarding to be a part of such an innovative program and to see the practical applications I've learned help promote the success of our practice.
